Chr. Hansen introduces LACTOSENS®R: The second generation of the lactose biosensor test kit, ensuring quick and robust documentation of low lactose or lactose-free claims for every batch

LACTOSENS®R is the second generation and the result of continues customer dialogue and innovation of the user-friendly test kit. As well as being a quick and easy-to-use quantitative test for lactose in low lactose and lactose-free dairy products, this kit enables dairy manufacturers to gain:

  • Increased versatility
    LACTOSENS®R is applicable to a vast range of dairy products (white mass and finished products)
  • Detection limit of 0.008 percent
    LACTOSENS®R delivers quantitative results with high accuracy at and below the threshold limit of 0.01 percent
  • Resiliency and robustness
    LACTOSENS®R is interference-free (measurements not affected by vitamins, sugars, fruits, etc.)
  • External certification
    LACTOSENS®R is certified by NordVal in an extended range of products.

Applicable to a wide range of dairy products

NOLA® Fit helps to produce tasty, lactose-free yogurt with reduced sugar while LACTOSENS®R for NOLA® Fit quickly determines an accurate residual lactose concentration.
